You can submit your own media example and deconstruction, and we'll post it on our website!

We need:

 A properly-formatted media example
 Your deconstruction
 Your contact information

Media examples

Text:  Hard copy (original), PDF, or scanned image (see Pictures below).

Pictures: Hard copy (original) or digital file.  All common graphics formats are acceptable (JPEG or PICT preferred). Maximum size 800W x 600H, 72 dpi.  (If the media example contains small text, you may also provide a high-resolution image or PDF.)

Video: Maximum length 2 minutes.  Submit as a digital file (preferred) or on VHS or mini-DV tape.  All common digital video formats are acceptable (QuickTime preferred).  Image size 320x 240.  Maximum file size 5MB.

Audio: Maximum length 5 minutes.  Submit as a digital file (preferred) or on cassette  tape.  All common digital video formats are acceptable (QuickTime preferred).

Your deconstruction

Formats: Microsoft Word, RTF or text-only (TXT).  Maximum length 1000 words.

Describe where and when you saw or heard the media example. (Such as title & date of magazine, ot TV network and broadcast date.)

If the media example contains hard-to-read small text, write it out.

Respond to the questions on the Deconstructing media page.
